Horseback Riding

Allow our horses to be your gentle guides through mountains, jungle and beaches leaving Star Mountain early in the morning or for a sunset beach ride. Depending on the rider's level different tours are offered.

Daily rides, for children and adults. Rides are planned based upon your ability – beginners through advanced. We seek to match a horse's temperament and other characteristics to the rider's skill level. After a while you'll both begin to understand each other and eventually become one on the trail.

A 2 hour ride costs $35 per person with longer rides available. Please contact us for pricing.

We also offer week long programs with daily rides to exciting, new venues. Here is a sample itinerary:

Day 1
Traverse our 225 acre property with its breathtaking ocean views.

Day 2
Cross the peninsula to the eastern coast and visit the coastal town of Cabuya and Cabo Blanco National Park.

Day 3
Descend to Playa Sueca and the Mal Pais Fishing Village. Riders can go for a short fishing excursion or take the canopy tour.

Day 4
Saddle up for a jaunt over to Montezuma with its spectacular waterfalls. Take a dip in the pools or take a leap off a 50 foot waterfall!

Day 5
Meander through the middle of the Nicoya Peninsula, visiting the charming towns of Delicias and Cobano.

Day 6
Gear up for a long beach ride to the seaside town of Manzanillo. Lunch at a beachside cafe and then return catching sunset on the way back home.
